Take care of your mind, body and soul

MIND | BODY | SOUL

We at Gracious Bakers believe feeling well starts by fuelling well. A life well lived is when we live a life where we feed our body, mind and spirit connection. We are made up of 3 planes of consciousness and need to feed all 3 in order to live a balanced healthy happy life and combat metal issues.

Our primary level of expression is through the body – the physical planes, associated with earthly desires and fears, and how we take care of our physical bodies. Our bodies represent the earth, and overall we all need to feel better in our bodies. Happier healthier people will automatically take responsibility for their own environmental impact and tap back into their innate wisdom that is embedded in each of us. All we have to do is to start trusting ourselves and listen. Listen with our hearts. Connecting body mind and spirit and create more balanced individuals that live more consciously and understanding that less is more and making that shift and contributing towards going greener. Individuals who use nature for healing as it was intended, and making changes toward growing your own food, contributing to society positively.

Our secondary level is the mental plane, which is governed by the mind, where we can travel through time. As we can apply our mind to past, present and future timelines. These timelines can either bring us trauma or joy and is important to maintain a healthy mind balance. On this plane we can be traumatized, as a consequence of the mind plane getting stuck in a certain time period causing you to be traumatized by a certain experience and staying right there. In other words, if the mental plane is not balanced, we experience feelings of depression and anxiety, leading back to food addiction, overeating and eating foods that are not good for our bodies. The body mind connection is so closely related and is not separate. A healthy mind has a healthy body. This is where mental illness stems from and only through balancing all 3 planes can mental disorders be combatted.

Our 3rd plane is the spiritual plane, the connection with your soul, your highest self, your spirit. It is a plane beyond the body and mind, where you become the witness by not applying the mind or entertaining the body, but just being pure loving awareness, and we become the observer without judgement without getting involved. The truest form of the self. This plane is easily influenced by media, television, music, movies etc. Just experience how these external factors make you feel on the inside, in your heart. Remember when you saw that sad scene of the dog dying, or the very angry scene of the man hitting his wife, how does that make you feel. Immediately as you experience the emotion of what you are seeing it will re-enact in the body, and it re-enacts as feelings of lack or unwell or filling a void created by an external factor. It is only when all 3 of these planes are in balance that we can live an authentic happy fulfilled life.

Ever since we are little, we were imprinted through, media, people, society what to like, dislike, what should make us happy, and only through a balanced life we can overcome these feelings of lack.

Happiness should be something long lasting and can only be found on the inside.

5 TIPS FOR BETTER MENTAL HEALTH

Get enough rest

Proper sleep not only relieves stress but also increases alertness and awareness. It enhances your memory since adequate sleep allows your brain to comprehend and retain information over time and cement memories.

Maintain A Nutritious Diet

A healthy gut leads to a healthy mind, which leads to better mental health. A well-balanced and nutritious diet is a natural stress-reduction strategy. Begin your day with a nutritious breakfast and strive to eat a balanced diet throughout the day.

Maintain an active, healthy lifestyle, Interact and Socialise.

Physical activity not only strengthens your body, but it also keeps you cognitively awake and minimizes stress. This improves your thinking, allowing you to be more effective and productive. Look for healthy living groups where you may interact with other individuals to stimulate your brain, such as yoga or zumba. This permits your brain to work and think more quickly.

Learn a new skill or hobby

Learning new abilities, such as playing the piano or learning new computer skills, helps excite the brain and nerve cells, keeping your brain fresh.

Laughter helps to maintain mental health.
